While studying for a Masters in Film Studies at UCL, Róisín became actively involved in choreographing within the university’s dance society. This pushed her on to pursue dance at Trinity Laban, where she gained a Diploma in Dance Studies with Distinction.
Róisín has since had her work performed at the Ajos Dance Festival in 2015 and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
Some People Say premiered at The Place’s Resolution Festival in January 2018 and was shown at Hidden Door Festival in May 2018.
A falling ballet was developed through support from Citymoves Dance Agency SCIO and Summerhall.
She is currently developing Parliament of Ghosts, a new commission for Hidden Door Festival 2022. More details to follow soon.
